Lateral files feature heavy-duty full-extension ball bearing suspension, a cam action drawer interlock system, four corner leveling glides, central key lock and optional spring assisted retractable doors.

Tennsco Lateral File Cabinets Features:
• Reinforcing steel is welded directly to the back panel for maximum strength and rigidity.
• A single lock to control all drawers and doors is standard equipment on every unit. All locks come with two keys.
• A mechanical interlock system prevents you from opening more than one drawer at a time, eliminating the danger of tipping.
• A good looking powder painted finish is baked on for durability.
• A plastic drawer edge liner lets you move hanging files quietly without catching.
• Drawers are welded for superior strength
• Leveling glides, located at all four corners of the file, provide a steady base for greater stability.
• Full Height steel uprights provide the basis for an exceptionally stable frame.
• Drawers glide on heavy duty, full progressive, lifetime warranted ball bearing suspensions.
• Standard file rods are adjustable for letter, legal and EDP filing in a variety of configurations. Drawer bottoms are also slotted to accomodate dividers.
• Drawer fronts are reinforced with a welded inner panel for rigidity and quiet operation.
• An optional hideaway posting shelf provides a handy spot to make notes or put down materials while you look for files in a five drawer unit.
• Spring assisted doors automatically retract with the slightest touch to keep aisles clear and give you complete access to your files.
• Self-edged laminate tops add another work surface to your office and are available in sizes to top off any file.
